If you are a U.S. company or a company doing business in the U.S. – Don’t commit any CINSS by doing business with: Cuba / Crimean region of Ukraine, Iran, North Korea, Syria, or Sudan

CINSS sounds like a sins and it is a great way to remember the U.S. embargoed countries. Regardless of your company’s location and/or subsidiary location, it is a no-no to do business with the CINSS countries. Also don’t forget to check all of the BIS and OFAC databases as well, AKA Denied Party List databases.

To keep your company on the straight and narrow, download the ENC Puzzle Solver which has the complete list of embargoed countries as well as many other features to keep you from “sinning!”
